  • Do not pick at any areas post treatment.

What to do after treatment

  • Please do not get facials, wax or massage the treatment area for two weeks after treatment.

Downtime post-treatment

Redness and a warming sunburnt feeling tend to subside within a few hours. There may be some swelling and occasional bruising in the areas being treated for thread veins and vascular lesions. Brown pigment often gets darker in the days following the treatment but then either flakes off or is absorbed by the body. Do not pick at these areas.

Final results are usually evident by day 10-14.

Rarely some experience swelling underneath the eyes that lasts a few days.

We advise that Lumecca treatments require a course and you should schedule this in 4-6 weeks.

If you are unsure about your treatment result or any potential side effect please contact the clinic so that we can support you.

Contact us if you note:

  • Pain increasing pain in the treatment site.

  • Increasing redness or swelling or pus.
