Our Formula
Our wonderfully intelligent non-ablative fractional laser, Lase MD Ultra, allows our patients to enjoy effective and powerful skin rejuvenation results with minimal downtime. All the way from South Korea, Lase MD Ultra has become synonymous with the “Baby Face” treatment that is popular in Korea. This thulium laser was conceived to aid in the achievement of the “Korean Glass Skin” effect by targeting areas of pigmentation and uneven skin-tone whilst improving skin quality. Lase MD Ultra is FDA approved for pigmentation (including melasma) and the coagulation of soft tissue (elasticity). This delivery system allows us to also infuse customised skincare ingredients into the skin post treatment as a drug delivery system with 90% absorption to enhance the results further.
Lase MD Ultra has a wavelength of 1927nm (thulium) and this wavelength has a higher absorption coefficient for water than the conventional fractional 1,550 nm lasers, conferring a greater ability to target epidermal structures with precision with minimal damage to the dermis. With water as the target for a laser, this opens up the world of possibility for rejuvenation and skin quality enhancement. The other characteristic of this wavelength that makes it well suited for superficial epidermal indications is its maximum depth of penetration of 200 μm. We can increase this depth by increasing the intensity for more skin tightening to be achieved. It is safe option for all Fitzpatrick Skin Types when used appropriately and is very customisable in terms of strength. Depending on the indication you will require a course of treatments of around 4-6 treatments with yearly maintenance.

What to expect at your appointment.
This treatment lasts 30 minutes
We will cleanse your skin to prepare it for treatment.
We will assess your skin to decide on the treatment parameters
The eyes will be protected by goggles and the hand piece will be applied to the surface to deliver the treatment.
You will feel prickly heat like sensation against the surface of the skin
After the treatment we will apply a layer of targeted creams/serums.
Preparation and maintenance
Schedule consultation before booking treatment.
Carefully read pre-care instructions.
No sun or fake tan on treatment area for 2 weeks before and after appointment.
Avoid active skincare for a week prior to treatment.
No dermal filler or wrinkle relaxers for 2 weeks prior.
Arrive make-up free.
Bring a cap or wide-brimmed hat for post-treatment.
Downtime: No make-up for 24 hours. Redness, mild swelling some pinpoint texture
are normal for a day to a few days.
Recommended up to 6 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart.
